Clams and Mussels with Frescobene Sausage Ragu

Serves 2-4


  • 1 Dozen Little Neck Clams (Cleaned)
  • 1 lb. Mussels (Cleaned)
  • 2 T.  olive oil
  • ½ c. bottled clam broth
  • 1-20 oz. pouch Frescobene Sausage Ragu
  • Crusty French/Italian bread


1. Place Sausage Ragu pouch in pot of boiling water or microwave following directions on package

2. Heat oil and clam broth in separate pot

3. Add mussels and clams to broth and cover with lid

4. Gently shake pot every few minutes

5. As mussels and clams open remove and place in bowl

6. Once all mussels and clams are done, cut corner of pouch and pour sauce on top of mussels and clams and serve with bread
